MISSION:    Nurture each child to reach his/her full potential.  (Prov. 22:6)

 

PHILOSOPHY:  A Christian education teaches us about our relationships with others, with ourselves, and with God.  The program content, teaching style, and interactions strive to exemplify the attitudes and traits modeled by Christ.  

 

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:    Growing up with an understanding and assurance that one is a beloved child of God and having a sense of connection to the larger family of God is fundamental to a child’s spiritual growth.  We interact in kind and caring ways; have fun with the children as they learn new things; we manage their behavior in ways that support them, as children of God, and allows them to feel that they can make successful choices.  (Our Director and lead teacher are certified teachers.)

 

CURRICULUM:  The preschool curriculum uses weekly and monthly themes to teach the children the values of the Christian faith and prepare a solid foundation for learning. 

 

GOALS:  To have children -

·         learn and experience the lessons of Bible stories, prayers, and songs of faith;

·         develop readiness skills needed to be successful in kindergarten;

·         create and support a positive image of self and others;

·         learn to socialize and explore in a safe and secure environment where feelings can be expressed in appropriate ways.
